Private Gatherings in the Heart of Luray
Our restaurant combines an intimate dining room with a lively garden just beyond the veranda, allowing events to unfold naturally from a seated dinner to a relaxed outdoor gathering under the garden lights.
Dining Room Private Events
Our main dining room accommodates up to 36 guests for a seated private dinner and is ideal for rehearsal dinners, executive dinners, birthdays, and small celebrations.
Guests are welcomed directly to their tables where service begins immediately, with beverages ordered from the table during the meal.
Typical dining room events include:
Private use of the dining room beginning around 5:00 PM
Seated dinner for up to 36 guests
Pre-selected menu with entrée options for guests
Hosted beverage service during dinner
Dining Room Event Investment
Private dining room events typically range from $3,800 to $5,500, plus tax and service charge.
Events held during our standard early-evening window (approximately 5:00–7:45 PM) fall toward the lower end of this range. Gatherings that extend later into the evening—such as those continuing until 9:00 PM or beyond—or events requiring greater exclusivity of the space fall toward the upper end.
Garden Gatherings + Receptions
Our garden offers a lively and relaxed setting for larger celebrations. The space can comfortably accommodate up to approximately 150 guests, making it perfect for welcome parties, cocktail receptions, corporate gatherings, birthday celebrations, and community events.
Garden events can be customized in many ways depending on the style of gathering you would like to create.
Popular options include:
Dessert receptions with drinks
Passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails
Fully hosted bars
Drink tickets or capped hosted beverages
Cash bar gatherings where guests purchase drinks individually
Because garden events are highly customizable, they can be tailored to a wide range of event styles and budgets.
Smaller Group Gatherings
For gatherings that don’t require the full dining room, we offer several intimate event options that still provide the same thoughtful service, seasonal cuisine, and welcoming atmosphere.
Half Dining Room
For groups of around 20 guests, we can arrange a half dining room buyout. Your party will enjoy a dedicated section of the restaurant while the remaining portion of the dining room remains open for regular service. This is a wonderful option for rehearsal dinners, birthday celebrations, corporate gatherings, or family occasions that want a lively restaurant setting while still dining together as a group.
Half dining room events require a $75 per person minimum, which may be applied toward any combination of food and beverages.
Applicable taxes and gratuity are additional and are not included in the per-person minimum.
Menus can be customized to match the style of your gathering, from shared plates to curated multi-course dinners.
Private Room Dining
For smaller gatherings, PORCH+VINE also offers a private upstairs dining room for up to 12 guests. This space is perfect for intimate celebrations, business dinners, or special evenings with family and friends.
Private dining room experiences also require a $75 per person minimum, which may be applied toward both dining and beverages.
Applicable taxes and gratuity are additional and are not included in the per-person minimum.

Full Evening Celebrations
Many hosts choose to combine both spaces—beginning with a seated dinner in the dining room followed by a larger gathering in the garden where additional guests can join the celebration.
Events that include both a dining room dinner and a garden reception typically range between $8,000 and $30,000, depending on guest count, menu selections, and bar structure.
