Isaac George
PORCH+VINE Owner
Isaac George is a steward of land, hospitality, and legacy. With over 30 years as Director of Finance for IBR Corporation, his family’s business spanning farming, commercial landscaping, and property management, Isaac brings a deep understanding of operations rooted in care and sustainability.
A patron of the arts and a lover of fine food, Isaac has turned his lifelong passion for beauty, nature, and meaningful experiences into curating the region’s most historic farm stays. PORCH+VINE is his expression of everything he values: excellence, connection, and the quiet joy of gathering around a well-set table.
Tony Villa
PORCH+VINE Owner
Tony Villa is a collaborator alongside Isaac in the creation of PORCH+VINE, Carriage Stone Farm, and Madeline Farms, and serves as the creative partner behind Rocking T Ranch. A stand-up comedian and seasoned performer who has toured the country, Tony brings a theatrical sense of storytelling to every guest experience. With roots in the performing arts and a deep reverence for nature, his work bridges hospitality and heart, offering immersive, elevated moments that connect people to land, food, and one another. On behalf of PORCH+VINE, he also produces Luray’s beloved annual Christmas Tree Spectacular, bringing light, joy, and a little magic to Main Street.
Mathew Chapman
Executive Chef
Executive Chef Mat brings a refined, Southern-influenced style rooted in seasonality, tradition, and heartfelt connection. A graduate of The Art Institute of Dallas, Mat spent over a decade sharpening his skills in chef-driven kitchens, with early culinary roots at Whole Foods Market and standout training at the acclaimed Barcelona Wine Bar. He’s also trained under master chefs in the vibrant Dallas culinary scene, where precision, creativity, and hospitality go hand in hand.
At PORCH+VINE, Chef Mat is known for his calm leadership, detail-driven execution, and ability to bring a soulful touch to elevated dining. His live fire cooking, one of his signature techniques, infuses ingredients with rustic depth and primal elegance, creating dishes that are both elemental and unforgettable.
Chef Mat curates thoughtful, ever-evolving menus that celebrate the land, the moment, and the magic of gathering together at the table.
Suzanne Chapman
Pastry Chef
Pastry Chef Suzanne brings a lifetime of love, learning, and wanderlust to every dessert she creates. A graduate of the Art Institute of Dallas with a degree in Baking and Pastry, her foundation was built long before culinary school, standing on a stool in her grandmother's kitchen, learning patience and the quiet magic of letting dough rise.
With 27 years in the hospitality industry and a career that has taken her from owning her own dessert company in Dallas to traveling the world as a flight attendant, Suzanne's culinary vision has been shaped by culture, curiosity, and a deep love for the classics with a twist. Much of that love traces back to her grandmothers, Alice and Ruth, who first put an apron on her, taught her to bake, and showed her what food could truly be. Her philosophy is simple. Make everything in-house, invoke a memory, and leave guests wanting more.
As Head Pastry Chef, Suzanne has become beloved for her elevated comfort sweets. Her famous P+V Lemon Butter Cake has become something of a legend at our table, and it is just one example of the care and craftsmanship Suzanne brings to everything she creates.
Jennifer Cosgrove
Director of Operations
With more than two decades of distinguished experience in hospitality leadership, Jennifer Michele brings a refined operational philosophy rooted in excellence, precision, and exceptional guest experiences. Her leadership style blends strategic vision with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every guest interaction reflects the highest standards of hospitality.
As Director of Operations for PORCH+VINE, The Garden, and Dolce, Jennifer oversees the strategic planning and daily execution of hospitality operations across premier destinations in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley.
Jennifer believes that truly memorable experiences are built through genuine connection, consistency, and thoughtful attention to every detail. Her leadership continues to elevate some of the Blue Ridge Mountains' most distinctive hospitality destinations, inspiring guests to return year after year.
Hans Kline
Interior & Hospitality Design
After graduating from the University of Virginia Architecture School, Hans initially worked primarily as a commercial architect. Over time, he realized his true passion wasn't just in designing buildings, it was in curating the experiences that unfold within them. Today, he transforms interiors into journeys: cozy homes with curated furnishings, stylish hotels that offer an escape, and sophisticated lounges crafted to inspire warm, flavorful gatherings.
His work now centers on hospitality design, creating thoughtful environments for restaurants, hotels, resorts, spas, and more. With over 25 years of trusted partnerships, Hans’s clients keep coming back, viewing him as their design partner, confidante, and artistic visionary who turns ideas into immersive, beautifully crafted spaces.
When he’s off the clock, you’ll find Hans on the tennis courts in summer or, in winter, coaching as a PSIA-certified ski instructor at Virginia’s local resorts. His golden retriever, SugarBear, claims all other free moments, exploring vintage markets and furniture fairs in search of quirky, meaningful pieces.
