Frequently Asked Questions

We want you to feel completely at home at PORCH+VINE. Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions our guests ask. If there’s anything we didn’t cover, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

  • We offer a variety of dining experiences throughout the week:

    • Brunch: Saturday + Sunday (10 AM – 2:30 PM)

    • Dinner: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (5 PM – 9 PM)
      Saturday (4 PM – 9 PM)

  • We like to call it Luray Casual or Shenandoah Chic — comfortable but with a touch of intention. There’s no formal dress code, and walk-ins are always welcome for brunch and lunch. For dinner, we simply encourage guests to dress their best in whatever makes them feel confident and comfortable.

  • Reservations are strongly encouraged for dinner and Supper Club evenings, as seating is limited. Walk-ins are welcome for lunch and brunch, space permitting.

  • For our Wednesday Supper Club fixed-course dinners, we require 72 hours’ notice for cancellations. For regular dining reservations, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.

  • We have several parking options:

    • Lot across the street on West Main Street

    • Gravel lot behind the restaurant (corner of West Page & Bank Streets)

    • Public street parking along West Main Street

  • Absolutely. Please let us know in advance, and our chefs will do their best to accommodate your needs.

  • Yes! Our upstairs private dining rooms are perfect for intimate celebrations. For larger gatherings, we offer full restaurant buyouts—spanning the main dining room (30 seats), bar, and outdoor patio—for up to ~100 guests.

  • Children are welcome to join us for brunch and lunch, provided they are already accustomed to dining in fine establishments.

We do not offer high chairs, booster seats, or a dedicated children’s menu, though many of our dishes can be shared or adapted for younger appetites. We kindly ask that young guests be able to sit comfortably at the table, remain engaged with the meal and conversation, and refrain from loud voices or the use of electronic devices during service.

Dinner at PORCH+VINE is designed as an adult dining experience. All evening services—including both Supper Club and standard dinner service—are reserved for adult guests only. We do make exceptions for larger parties who wish to include children, and in those cases we are happy to accommodate them in our private dining room.

  • We understand that phones are part of life, and using them during your meal is perfectly fine as long as it doesn’t disrupt the experience of other guests. Feel free to capture a few photos of your dish, the room, or the people you’re with — and if you feel inclined, tag us on social media @porchandvineluray. We love seeing those moments shared.

If you need to take a call or have a longer conversation, we kindly ask that you step outside to help preserve the relaxed, connected atmosphere of the dining room. Inside, we hope you’ll unwind, be present, and enjoy a little time away from the everyday noise.
